The SAP framework and the constantly changing market conditions underline the need for a new, fast solution. Among other things, the increasing use of the cloud has significantly changed the requirements for a licensing model. Why Generation 3?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Back in 2006, HONICO developed the first generation of Dynamic License Control (DLC): a product for SAP license management and optimization that quickly became the market leader in the SAP environment and was acquired by Flexera LLC in 2009. A few years later, the second generation was developed and with it a new cooperation between HONICO and Intelligent Licensing as a venture capital company in the USA. Intelligent Licensing, and with it the successful second generation, was acquired by SNOW Software SE in 2014 and has been in operation ever since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
